Wow, I don't think I've ever seen that Bellmer designβ¦ I'm used to his doll-like renderings and had never seen this one. I wonder if it was indeed an inspiration to INSA, as they do appear very similar.
When people discover artists like Dali, Giger and Bellmer, their art can certainly leave a lasting impression.
Some of Giger's art and ink drawings have similarity to Bellmers and also some of Dali's drawings and Bellmer could have been influenced by Dali and others.
Plus for this type of squirmy grid like mathematical style art, there will always be similarities in some ways.
