1) It looks like all the Denning prints at Red Prop. have sold out. Have I missed something or are they all gone??

2) Anyone know why Ghostboy have gone altogether from Red Prop. Is he at another gallery now??

If your looking on the art file site that was a show from months ago and there not actually for sale anymore... They just havent put a sold sign up for some reason.

Denning got a nice little bit of write up in the London paper this evening, for the affordable art fair, even printed an image of his next to a Peter Blake, which was nice

had a right result, wanted this first time, but was too slow, someone took it on reserve, it fell through, went up for sale again, again didnt know, went on reserve again, person didnt pay again, then saw it for sale, snapped it up, bought it, paid up, the rest is history

I popped along to the Afford Art Fair last night to see some of Guy's work in the flesh and I have to say that they were incredible......mainly sketches a few small oils.....his charcoal work is stunning. Theres some pretty good stuff at the fair and well worth a visit but Denning's work really stood out imho. Can see why Micallef recommended him....mind u most of it had gone by the time I left!!

hi all

was at the affordable art fair on wed, and managed to snaffle 2 of the canvases and a drawing. Alison was saying the website needs to be updated, and all the Denning stuff had arrived that morning from France.
the charcoal works were stunning but I couldnt bite the bullet to pay £2900. also art file were selling some work by laura degenhardt which looked great.

£2900.00 for the charcoal drawing!...I managed to pick one up at Signal Gallery for £1750.00 (100x100cm)...seems the pricing has gone up a bit since then but it was about 2 weeks before Bonhams so might explain it. I will be getting it framed this week so will post the pictures when complete.
