Eh, how hard was it to create Robert Indiana's 'LOVE' yet it's an icon known throughout the world.
Shepard's prints have looked like Shepard's prints before the man even used a computer. Back in the 1990's, when it was all rubylith and x-acto knife, that is when the style that has become synonymous with Obey was formed. Is it easy to copy? Absolutely, it's rather simple. But tens-of-millions of LOVE prints, postcards, sculptures, t-shirts, and variations will tell you, simple and classic often go hand-in-hand.

But all of Shep's prints that he churns out on a weekly basis that are quite obviously just a manipulated photoshop filter start to reek of laziness and just start to look cheap. The guy keeps reusing the same elements over and over too, can't even re-filter them.
And as far as Indiana's Love. It was not only simple in design but it also had a concept too. There isn't even that much concept to most of Shep's prints.
He's an alright illustrator though. But I think in this case, less really is more, as in he should churn out less prints and put more time into each of them.
