David Choe - Chinaski Print, by ozychilds on Apr 15, 2010 15:38:53 GMT 1, Bukowski was a pretty ugly man, so this captures that at least
Unless this is meant to be Henry Chinaski?
Not actually a big fan of Choe, expect for that cool Jimi print, but more because I love Hendrix

looking forward to the upcoming LAZ show. Hope to see some cool prints coming out of that.

Chinaski was an autobiographical alter-ego of Bukowski, so it does make sense!

David Choe - Chinaski Print, by boaty on Apr 16, 2010 0:53:44 GMT 1, I can certainly see why this piece is not gaining wide acceptance here.
But from the moment I saw it - it captivated me - the depth just draws me in....Choe's got real talent.

David Choe - Chinaski Print, by rsj on Apr 16, 2010 2:16:03 GMT 1, The original would be quite ok, but I can't imagine a print of this working well with it being painted on what it looks like an aged torn page from a book or something.

I was a huge fan when I was younger, would just prefer to see the print in person, looking forward to seeing some photos of it. I'm pretty sure too that bukowski is massively popular in the states so would expect this to sell well

David Choe - Chinaski Print, by timba82 on Apr 16, 2010 11:21:12 GMT 1, its hard not to admire the brilliance of this piece. in fact it is stunning! i'm sorry for my ignorance by not knowing who the guy in question is however the colours, the skill, the pencil lines are simply beautiful. its the depth of it that draws me in. love it although wont be buying it. Choe has yet again shown his incredible talent. well done sir

the guy is called Charles Bukowski, read his poems... just a tip.
