Be prepared for quite a hit on the Neates. Im sure someone paid 2/3k for a pare at the back end of last year

Cost for the Neate Portraits was £1350 EACH just incase anyone was wondering , Anyone who sold these for 2-3K last year for a pair must have been desperate or in some serious financial distress I am NEITHER I would SWAP THESE for signed banksy's or smaller Originals etc.

yes they went for relatively not much more than cost

Id go to auction, the galleries on here are just buying and selling in there shops so you are just as likely to get low offers from them

They look great framed in the thin white frames and hung together as a pair.

Just for info i have paid 1.8K for the white self portrait (the only one i like) in december last year, which was i think a fair price for me and the seller.
Less than 3k for both is i think not enough for such a great piece. If you can wait until your find a good offer

I was sure it wasnt too long ago, id also say that the neate market is not recovering like people think. It may be happening to Banksy, but hardly anyone else.

I was sure it wasnt too long ago, id also say that the neate market is not recovering like people think. It may be happening to Banksy, but hardly anyone else.

Sounds like you're trying to talk the price down Walshy, so you can make a lo-ball offer, otherwise I can't think of any other reason you would be so negative on somebody else's sales thread???

The Neate prints are fantastic especially with John Jones framing....

I Made 1 comment and then replied to others. All I have said is fact regards the price....I also wished him luck with the sale pretty early on.

Had some very interesting offers and swaps on the Neates and Supine nothing concrete yet. ;D

The frames on these were over £350 you get what you pay John Jones are serious framers I know there are lots of other framers out there but I these speak for themselves.
