I'm looking to sell "Tenuous" print by Vhils

Edition of /250
Screen print on paper
Screen print ink, Quink ink, bleach, and acid
Hand-finished, signed and numbered by the artist
Keaykolour Original China White 300 g/m2 paper
100 × 70 cm
2016

Perfect condition.
The print was not kept flat, it remained in its original tube.

looking for 800€ / 710£ / 990$,

Think I was wrong about the price,
now asking for 650€ / 580£ / 800$

I didn’t expect it to be that high... great piece though should sell out if people spending 900 on those large format pieces.

But those Large Format pieces are Large... And more limited.

As nice as these are, I think they're too expensive.

I love Vhils, but I just don't think his work translates all that well to prints.

VHILS is awesome! His prints have gotten pricier each release it seems, and still sell out quickly, with double the runs as well!

Saw that too. Excessive prices. Some artists are getting too greedy too quickly. I know plenty of other more interesting and valuable pieces to blow a grand on.

Agreed. Plus, these are too expensive for the size. Only slightly larger than Shepard's monthly releases.

I'm so tired of "hand finishing" as a gimmick. Complete the whole work with your hand and then the price will be right.

When looking at other releases of Vhils it seems you pay a few hundred euro's more for Shepard's signature in this release

I’m cool with a modest bump in price for handfinishing. Maybe 25% of the main edition price. But some are quite excessive. If it’s more than 15 mins of work to hand finish a piece I’d say they’re better off going the extra mile and making a HPM variant or something.

I can't look passed the different sized / style eyes - totally ruins the print for me. Perhaps Vhils did one and Shep the other.

No, the last release "Rupture" edition size was 200 for €550,- So if you calculate, then with edition size of 150 price for one print should be around €690,-

"Rupture" was not hand finished...
