hello there everybody!
this is the last print release from fame festival 2010

Vhils "out of your comfort zone" 100 copies
56x76 cm
two color screenprint on cotton paper, deckled edges, plus handpainted ink and bleach

this is a picture of the process,


the artist first painted the ink and then painted the bleach over, adding a nice beige texture

damn you vhils...you pulled me in for another one! can't wait to see it in person. if i had more cash i would have loved to have gotten the perspex version.

corpocracy and deface match up so well, i wonder how this will look compared to them.

...I've heard this said a few times, and while I don't like all of them (find the buildings a bit 'cold' and a lot of the male faces a bit too stern to be staring at me from the wall every day), I've a couple of the older Laz ones and they are lovely, loads of depth and great colours but admittedly quite different from the street work I've seen.

As I said, love this image though, and the Perspex version the nearest thing I've seen to one of the massive Perspex pieces (this one is based on the same image of one of the large OG's in the Laz gallery until recently).

i dont have more details at the moment. it's going to happen soon tough. winter printing session, keeping it real!

With a cue of prints to be framed eventually (and more constantly being added to the list), these I'm afraid are beauty but will probably never get on my walls. If someone can provide them with a better home than they're all yours. I would prefer to sell as a set (as they look perfect together) but am open to splitting them up.

Those are what i paid for them. Corprocracy came from Laz for 150 GBP and Deface came from Underdogs for 150 Euro. Deface had shipping included in the price - I'm willing to include shipping in the price of both pieces. I took the exchange prices from XE.com before posting and rounded it off. I'm in Canada so ultimately I have to convert the payment over to $CAD.

yes it's still available from Laz but is now selling for 160 GBP - originally it was sold for 150GBP. i'm also offering to include shipping - i thought that was a fair offer. i completely understand if someone wants to get it from Laz instead - if i don't sell it i'll just keep storing it. if anyone is interested in both, i may be open to a discount on the pair - pm me and we'll discuss. like i said, i'm not looking to make any money here, but i also don't really "need" the money so i'll only let them go for a fair price.

update - tried to work with a forum member on one of these and found out that shipping from me to the UK is half the value of the print. Needless to say I was shocked. So, it seems pointless to let it go if shipping costs are included - unless someone from North America is interested. For now I guess I will hold on to them until one day I can frame them up.
