People will obviously (and quite rightly) suggest that Neverwork is a bit of a copier of others buat arent we all?
I actually quite like this peanuts print but not enough to buy one. I seem to remember that this guy is pretty young (19-20?). It will be good to see what happens as he finds his style a bit more maybe.

I can't see a peanuts print there... are they all gone?

Some really nice originals available there though!

Just a question but the Black Dog, isn't that practically the same dog as Faile have in one of their prints? (Even if they're v. similar, it still looks great, IMO)

But you can buy direct from neverwork on canvas edition of 10 for £250? Justification of paying £100 more for it on paper please? And dont say cos its hand finished

i bought from neverwork a couple of years ago. have a fantastic black dog, framed, and it looks great. he threw in a couple of really nice extras, which is always a pleasurable suprise - spqr did this too. i recommend for what its worth.

slowmo, no probs mate i wanted to get all the new stuff on the site for january but ive been that busy painting/sorting this years exhibitions/big sticker campaign/collectors special boxset soon... and all the rest... sadly i haven't had time to get it done yet, hopefully have it all sorted for the end of feb, unless its another crazy month!

Unfortunately I wouldn't be allowed one of them, as my GF is scared to death of dogs . Great work though!

thanks, your gf would hate it here then i've got a japanese akita & a siberian husky, & the mrs has 2 more huskies, 2 rabbits, a rodent of some sort, fish.. thank f*ck we got rid of the horses!

been working on something a bit different and would be interested in hearing peoples thoughts.

the idea came from an earlier abstract i produced on metal, i was thinking about decay, the process of weathering the removal of layers, revealing the surfaces beneath, thought it might be nice to try to make a more identifiable image using the same method. this is experiment no 1. on hardboard using spray & poster paint. no 2. is on canvas using spray household paint (currently working on this one) then i thought i would try one on perspex, maybe back light it, to give a translucent effect. anyway enough talk, heres the pics.

However one thing is she trying to work out if she needs deoderant?

basically whatson i built up a number of layers of paint, then scratched back using a blade through the various layers to create the majority of the image.

it's an interesting idea - the layering.

different artists use a variation on this.

I first used in in my first year at school - thought it simply magically - everyone can try it.

crayons on a sheet of paper - colour it all in... in
different (not black ) colours - cover it all in black for eg.

get a pin and draw your picture

..

good ideas nvrwrk - i'd been keen on seeing how this develops.
