Bloomsbury Auctions π¬π§, by snausages on Sept 30, 2010 23:22:30 GMT 1, If you like Calder you should check out Nathan Carter www.caseykaplangallery.com/ Looks better in person, the mobiles/sculptures are often made from trash and discarded elements.

Original cost for silver flag was Β£100, it is low compared to recent sales, but condition may have been an issue (as it often is with these prints)

Bloomsbury Auctions π¬π§, by Goooogle Male on Mar 3, 2011 22:28:36 GMT 1, michael - BME went for Β£2400 right, so if Β£100 under you would have actually paid nearly Β£3k (Β£2300 +22% buyers +3% credit card) - that's a pretty high price! Am sure you can get one for less than that - that's gallery prices...

Bloomsbury Auctions π¬π§, by Brushstrokes 75 on Mar 3, 2011 23:17:10 GMT 1, good results on the murakami's prints...
Don't understand the seller on this lichtenstein though :
www.bloomsburyauctions.com/detail/13384/263.0
Prices hit Β£550 and appears that it wen unsold.... Pain in the a** for me since I have the same print with the same number and it keeps coming back at auction (it appears that there was a misnumbering - what Bloomsbury said at least).

Bloomsbury Auctions π¬π§, by silvermyn on Nov 14, 2011 21:26:42 GMT 1, Thanks for posting printguru.
I've got a few pieces by Vasarely and was surprised to see the similarity between Lot 25 by Henry Moore and the the Vasarely work that can be seen on the link below.
www.mutualart.com/Artwork/Woman/E39D55AE96793181
I'd quite like lot 25 now as I think they'd look quite good together

Bloomsbury Auctions π¬π§, by Brushstrokes 75 on Jun 11, 2012 18:09:04 GMT 1, Some cool stuff but they went overboard with some of the estimates....
Always pains me to see a Jazz set broken down (162 to 165 & 167) w/ a lot of faint.
Anyone who is interesting in a good art story, I would recommend what is called the chlomovitch (slomovic) mystery.
It's kind of an amazing story related to this piece :

That really is some art with a story!!
Loved this line, which confuses things nicely, "Vollard wouldnβt give away the time of day" And that was his friends!
