Barbican Rats painted around. . . , by HowAboutNo on May 31, 2006 18:41:33 GMT 1, Found these on an extended walk home. Looks like a fresh lick of paint, and the building looks like its being completely refurbished. Wonder if the new tennants will keep them for good?
Couldn't tell if the big red "4" looking bit on the placard was Banksy? Guess it is as text runs over it. Shame about the scrawl of some idiot at the bottom

Nice to see people are starting to appreciate their outside Banksys now ;D

The 4 is a Resident Evil 4 advert (I posted this somewhere else the other day). Looks like Capcom were careful to keep the original text, mainly as it's kind of in keeping with the videogame...

If you are at the Barbican for the theater, leave the main entrance and turn left, its on one of the buildings on the left. It actually looked fairly new come to think of it.
