What speaker cable to buy?, by stillborncrisps on Dec 16, 2008 1:03:25 GMT 1, I've inherited some 100w Wharfedale speakers, a technics CD player, an old direct drive turntable and a Cambridge Audio amp. All this gear's at least 15 years old, though weren't bad 'back in the day'.
How much should I spend on speaker cable for this set up, and which sort (from Richer Sound's dazzling array) should I get?
Also, are banana plugs worth it or are they more just for convenience?
