Thanks for the head up. I'll sit this one out. At £150.00 for an ed. of 250, I think this one will wind up being cheaper on the 'bay - especially with a recent Zooicide going for £181.00 on the bay last week.

I agree with Raiden, i've been 50/50 about this one. Not a particularly strong image, monkey's bananas and an andy warhol reference. All sounds a bit to clichéd. At £166.00 (£16 for delivery?!?) for a 250 edition. I don't think this one's for me. :/

Although I'm a hugh fan of Dolk's work, it doesn't seem like his best work is making to print.

i slagged it last week but now that i've had the chance to look at it for a while i have decided that i like it a lot and i've bought one.

it's great to be able to take your time and decide whether you like a release before pulling the trigger for a change.

Not being a stencil artist, are feet particularly hard to stencil? I feel this possibly explains why Banksy doesn't do feet.

Still a big fan of Dolk though.

Why is it that the only artist (Banksy) who in the current climate shouldn't be shrinking his edition size, is the only one who did? I like this print, but I just don't think it will sell out at that price - but then I also own Dolks 'Officer Down' just because I love that image.

I don't think banksy does print releases for the money.

yep, i was sure that paintbrush girl would be available for a while but it sold out within 12 hours. there haven't even been all that many on the 'bay.

i still can't quite believe it.

Paintbrush Girl sold out much faster than a lot of people expected, so I would not be surprised to see this new one gone pretty fast.

I think a lot of people have underestimated DOLK If he was here in the UK we could all be on the Dolk forum right now. Give him a high profile UK solo show in London and I think he could show even Banksy a thing or two ;D
