Insect @ LAZ, by motor on Jul 20, 2007 16:07:41 GMT 1, I've heard that the whole show was Sold Out (apart from edition prints). Anyone else knows more? Rumors that Mr. Hirst got something to do with that?!

Insect @ LAZ, by dealersam on Jul 31, 2007 11:30:16 GMT 1, I think the Hirst buying the Insect show has about as much truth to it as the rumour that he owns PoW. Can anyone believe a thing a globally renowned artist says - it's all PR!

Yeah she can't be, she was flogging her signed Β£10 note gift from Banksy a while ago. No way would she have done that with all those shares in pow..... Unless she's a got a penchant for the card table and she's had one hell of a loosing streak.

That's quite interesting.... I did wonder why the manager of Laz was fairly bemused when asked by a punter if he had any 'Silver Sids' left... he said 'that was like asking Burger King for a Big Mac' and that POW released that edition; and went on to say that LAZ had tried to work with POW to create some of the print editions but they couldn't work things out.
It doesn't sound like the relationship is running that smoothly despite having the same directors etc

Insect @ LAZ, by slowmo on Aug 1, 2007 10:17:28 GMT 1, You only have to update your records every so often. This was taken from a post last year, sorry for any confusion I may have caused, main thing to look at is the shareholders, never could understand why LAZ always deny involvement with POW.

Insect @ LAZ, by rolyateel on Aug 1, 2007 13:30:30 GMT 1, Just checked again
Shareholders are: B Hudd - 5 shares J Hewlett - 67 shares S Lazarides - 18 shares S Parkin - 10 shares
As for Directors...the only listed Director is Simon Durban
in the "event history" the following is listed: 30/07/2007 Stephen Lazarides Has Left The Board 16/01/2007 Stephanie Warren Has Resigned As Company Secretary 16/01/2007 New Company Secretary (simon Durban) Appointed
even so SL has "left the board" he still retains his shareholding, he probably has less to do with PoW on a day-to-day basis in this case, but still has an interest.

thats all bollox Laz website has said at least for the last 12 months that they're nothing to do with each other.
I would venture that instead of 'it was like asking Burger King for a Big Mac', it was more like asking an Aston Martin dealer for a Ford Focus (or the other way round seeing as Ford own AM)

I think big changes in ownership / directorship have to be done almost immediately, whereas financial information has to be done within a certain time after your financial year end (8 months I think)
