choe at Laz, by blackjonny on Feb 29, 2008 8:41:33 GMT 1, Choe's show was fantastic. I can't believe people would rather go and see Beejoir! Choe is in a different league.

Have to agree, popped down to London last night and was very impressed with Mr Choe's latest offerings, my only gripe is that the whole show was sold out before the doors had opened, there were some amazing watercolour pieces that looked a snip at 3.5k, but alas they were all accompanied by red dots...

choe at Laz, by G-Man on Feb 29, 2008 11:25:00 GMT 1, I went to the Choe show last night in London and thought there were some really really cool pieces.
I loved the variations on the city girl watercolours and the hooker mouse watercolour
Β£3500 + VAT seemed reasonable for originals like these to me, but too much for me... anyhow they all were sold by seven o clock!
David's stuff is strange though IMO he has two very different styles and I'm only a fan of one of them.
Really good atmosphere though and well worth the trip

This is not true!
I went in at 1815hrs and there were about half of the watercolours left but by 1900 they were all sold
