I'm trying to get hold of a VLH, I thought I could get one for around £1750 - but people are quoting me a lot more.

What's a fair price? A guy on ebay is selling his for £4k, surely he's taking the pi$$?

I'd say £1750 is about right give or take a few hundred £.. Not his most popular image.

its personally one of my fav's

was looking through the catalogue of his signed prints last night and VLH is up there. its beautiful and it goes well in a house, everyone loves it too.

I think apart from kate, and bomb hugger its my next fav print.

I agree with Spanksy. Its a relatively small edition (compared to the 2 versions of donuts and NBG) and they don't seem to be coming up on Ebay very often. Although its not worth the £4K that is being asked, it wouldn't surprise me if they started going for around the £2.5K mark fairly soon. A year after its release, it looks like they've all ended up in the hands of people who actually want to have one on their wall.

Personally, its one of my favourite prints. Really punchy colours, nice 'overspray' effect in the printing and it looks fantastic on the wall, particularly in a white box frame

I have wanted one of these framed and on my wall and I am very close now to getting one. In my opinion, its a great piece - in fact a classic image and very 'now' when you think 'Tesco' is trying to take over the world.

it is a very 'now' image indeed and when i am older and tescos do rule the world i will keep it in my underground 'banned political art room' and every night go down and say 'if only everyone realised it then' andproceed to stick to fingers up to society.

Yeah, I love this print and image, pairs really well with a tesco soup can too.
Not selling mine, but I wouldn't even consider anything under £2k if I were, 2.5k maybe? So much better and rarer than the past several prints.

i prefere VLH to grannies (i have both)
i dont rate the rats, they are nice, but i wouldnt hang one in my house. VLH is universal.

Yes it does, even though Tesco isn't outside of the Uk, the brand is known by Banksy fans

I recall at least one Banksy fan on here from the US saying the print didn't do much for them for exactly this reason. I am sure there must be others.

I think the jab at corporate patriotism is a very universal motif in these times – it's easy to figure out what's happening even if you don't have a Tesco. It's much more of an original thought than rain inside an umbrella or interesting than cops protecting a donut. (I think NBG is good except for the execution—sign looks like it's falling from the sky—but VLH, best execution and concept since trolley and granny)

As for price, not even close to 2.5k?! Don't think I'm way off, but sure, if you find a motivated seller, closer to 2k I guess, personally it would take minimum 2.5k for me to sell. And where can I get a mint signed grannies for 2.6? Seriously.

You may be right? But certainly there aren't a ton of prints available at the prices you mention. Hardly ever see VLH on ebay. Signed grannies doesn't come up often either, the last one on bay the seller wanted £3.7k. Sure it didn't sell but that doesn't mean he's going to dump to it for 2.6 now. You really have to be lucky, patient and on the ball to get those low prices.

Myself I'm going off the fact that if a Nola or S&S is going for about £1500-£2000 then I think the rarer and better imo VLH should be about £2k + as a rough guide.
