Shepard Fairey - Soup Can III, by schlomo on Sept 4, 2009 17:49:55 GMT 1, Cheers Ross, I have been speaking with Christian and Ryan there, they have been very helpful but are still unable to locate my print. The reason i ask on shipping is on checking my invoice i paid for UPS worldwide express, but on asking Christian i was told it went by USPS, and that i didnt specify insurance so there was nothing they could do until they had filed a claim.
Anyways, i'm sure it'll get sorted, i just wanted it done by the time the next came out so i could try for matching numbers. Hey ho.....

Shepard Fairey - Soup Can III, by faroutman on Sept 4, 2009 18:05:39 GMT 1, Hello this may help you if you have a tracking number from the american post office when the print was sent to you.I would check it on the parcel force in uk site as i had a problem once a print was sent from yo depot in the states and returned after three weeks as a letter was not sent from customs saying i had to pay a charge of x amount it was a f##king pain and had to be resent more postage i had to pay etc. Also i think it could be held up cutoms or at your parcel force depot give them a call hope this makes sense and helps..

Shepard Fairey - Soup Can III, by graffoto on Sept 4, 2009 18:22:35 GMT 1, Mide came a couple of months ago too and was kinda trackable on usps website - no customs or parcel force charge but they did leave it on the doorstep! Luckily it was at an office and got picked up pretty soon. Bomb proof packing - good luck with tracking it - it doesn't pay to skimp in international shipping - I just paid for the mosst expensive option to make sure.

Shepard Fairey - Soup Can III, by schlomo on Sept 4, 2009 18:26:28 GMT 1, I didnt skimp on international shipping! i paid for UPS worldwide express, an insured service. Its not up to me to make sure they then post it by that service is it?
Unfortunately Iconoclast have been unable to provide a tracking number as apparently it was taken to the post office and then lost before it was actually sent.
As i say i'm sure it'll get sorted, just wish it had been done so before this next one was released.

Shepard Fairey - Soup Can III, by Winter on Sept 4, 2009 18:57:33 GMT 1, Had excellent service from Iconclast and Christian so I'm certain it will get sorted. I feel very lucky to have the full set with matching numbers so won't have to get involved with this release.

I think only people on the facebook and twitter lists have access to the password. That's how I read the email anyway. Personally I never saw the point in any soup can images, let alone repeat releasing them in different colours for big bucks. I know there are a LOT of fans out there though, so I genuinely just put it down to my own ignorance and hope you all enjoy them when they arrive.

www.iconoclastusa.com/EditionsArtists.aspx?Section=Editions&ArtistID=301
As for the password, it'll be as said above on facebook and twitter 1 hour before general release.
Unfortunately mine has now been resolved and print has been declared lost at sea, money is to be refunded. Bit gutted i must say but glad we sorted it out. I've also been told FedEx is now an option rather than UPS, which should be a lot more secure.
Not sure if i will go for this now, number 2 was such a good colour, for me the best alongside number 1.

Shepard Fairey - Soup Can III, by iconoclastedt on Sept 8, 2009 5:38:50 GMT 1, Note from Iconoclast Editions: The password for the Soup Can III print will be given out only via Facebook and Twitter. You must become a fan on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to receive the password. The password will only be necessary for the first hour of the release, then the print will be publicly available. Also, please know that insurance is now an option with all of our orders but is absolutely necessary for all overseas orders via US Postal Service. Also, we have completely revamped our website both cosmetically and functionally. Your cart will time out in only a few minutes. Please proceed briskly throught the checkout process. Attempts to circumvent our system will simply negate your ability to purchase. Thank you.

I'm not sure you can enforce this. Isn't it the shippers duty to ensure the goods arrive ?
You should only do insured postage I rekon - solves this issue straight away
