Shepard Fairey + Z-Trip - Print release/tour, by slipway on Sept 21, 2009 16:18:30 GMT 1, It does seem a bit like any excuse for a release...
Shep must have signed 1000s and 1000s of prints over the years!

Shepard Fairey + Z-Trip - Print release/tour, by Happy Shopper on Sept 22, 2009 10:12:03 GMT 1, King of self promotion, that's for sure! Not the greatest poster, but I'd buy it if it's for sale at the club (and not have to pay the pricey shipping)
Would love to see Z Trip at Matter... but not sure who I can drag there with me!?

my favorite is that it says sold out. And you can still buy it from the store. It is taking a long time for it to sell out. Thats good, so the regular people can buy this one. I don't personally like concert posters.

Shepard Fairey + Z-Trip - Print release/tour, by snausages on Sept 23, 2009 1:21:41 GMT 1, I'm surprised 'communist' still has the same effect. When I was a little kid and there was still a soviet union it was an evil word that conjured up fear. But it really lost its impact on me in the last 20 years yet these guys are still trying to manipulate it and brand Obama as evil.
I just want to know where all these protesters were when Bush was in office. Bush expanded the size of government more than anyone since probably FDR and ballooned our budget to record highs that Obama was left with, have these people lost their memory? None of these people went marching to Washington to protest Bush taxes. Which shows it really has nothing to do with taxes, it has everything to do with fearmongering and these people being herded like cattle as pawns for the supposed "moral elite." They don't care about reality and details of the laws being passed, they just take some lawn chairs down to washington sunday afternoon to root for their "team." Such a shame how this world works.

Shepard Fairey + Z-Trip - Print release/tour, by snausages on Sept 23, 2009 1:56:21 GMT 1, just been sent this But my little diatribe aside, this image is more subversive and more in line with the thing Fairey claims to be doing than the original Obama poster ever was. Was more than a little weird when mr 'anti-propoganda' started preaching in his posters for a political candidate for the massive democratic party machine.

Shepard Fairey + Z-Trip - Print release/tour, by Pure Evil on Sept 23, 2009 8:20:23 GMT 1, Shep DID SOMETHING... He gave a shit and he produced a print to promote something and somebody he believed in. He directly influenced people who might never vote for anyone.. Singlehandedly he didnt get Obama into power but he helped in his own way. I think thats pretty damn cool. When he did it originally I was a bit cynical but that was probably because I never ever thought Obama had a snowballs chance in hell of getting into power. It happened, and Shep helped. I salute him.
