FS ADAM NEATE "COME ON" @ HALF PRICE, by Nico on Nov 26, 2009 8:23:25 GMT 1, I'm selling my print from ADAM NEATE, "Come On". It was bought GBP1250.00 from Elms in 2007. Selling on Ebay at GBP800, but happy to let it go to a forum member for GBP600 for a quick sale.
It's a limited edition of 75, and I'm happy to meet in London for cash in hand.

It has a mini crease on the top right edge, not on the image, i've shown it on the ebay listing in a close up shot to show how minimal it is.

these have been selling for £400-500 in mint condition.
A fair price £200-250 id say, its a shame i know but when these can be got A1 condition for what your asking a mini crease makes a massive difference.

Also you can't really judge as it's a close up (and I mean CLOSE UP) so in scale, it's actually small). Thanks for your input!

But if it were mine id always know in my head that it was creased, obviously looks worse in the pic.

Re the damage it could easily be fixed, but being honest with current prices I would probably just frame it up with a mount and if ever worth serious money I'd then get it fixed. There is no way it reduces the price by the amount being stated above

you aint seen the crease yet ..... just search it on ebay and tell me then what the real price should be. All told you can pick them up for 400-500 so why pay that for a creased one.

however i did see a paved with gold with less damage go for £500 about 9 months ago in an ebay auction.
its a cracking print. one of Neates best and for sure the most under rated of his prints. until its seen in the flesh it just can't be truly appriciated.

We'll see, definitely, being literally on the edge, a mount frame would solve that...not sure about ironing it...will leave that suggestion in the "bad ideas box".

i've done it loads of times. prints very rarely arrive in mint condition do they?. especially on the secondary market.

I've seen the picture, looks quite long, but only a few mm deep and easily hidden by a mount. At the end of the day the value depends on many factors, if for you if halves the value I'm not going to disagree as we all have equally valid views. At the moment the value has been put forward by the seller and only they can decide whether the damage is such that they will take an offer less than £600
