Oliver Winconek π¬π§ Portrait Artist β’ Oil Paintings , by Oliver Winconek on Mar 25, 2010 11:13:49 GMT 1, I decided to enter the 2010 BP Portrait award, here's the piece I have put in, well over 200 hours spent painting this!
150 x 120 cm approx Acrylic and spray paint on canvas (Framed)
The model is Lady Frankenstein (Jasmine Clea Danks) www.ladyfrankenstein.com/
Apologies for the poor quality of the photos, they were taken late last night in my studio just before I drove to London to deliver the work, was a bit of a mad rush!

Cheers bram, the tattoo's were a nightmare! Was a weird experience painting them as it's like copying someone elses artwork but giving it your own twist to fit the style of the painting, was certainly a challenge for sure

Oliver Winconek π¬π§ Portrait Artist β’ Oil Paintings , by Oliver Winconek on Apr 9, 2010 21:51:50 GMT 1, I was commissioned by SEEDA and Ashford borough council to paint one of the feature walls at International house in Ashford, Kent.
The choice of design was completely down to me so it was nice to be given complete creative freedom, typically on a project like this you end up with some nob in a suit putting forward their creative input!
Each piece is approx 3 mtrs tall, 5mtrs wide. I used Emulsion for this as it would have been impossible to spray in the bad weather
All feedback welcome,
Oliver

Cheers Silky, wanted to do something that worked in harmony with the building as well as having a fresh look to it. I think the green was the key colour, it's been good watching the reactions of the office workers as the enter the building and see it
