Oliver Winconek π¬π§ Portrait Artist β’ Oil Paintings , by Oliver Winconek on Nov 28, 2009 23:39:06 GMT 1, Took 4 days, working 12 hour days, 7am - 7/8pm. Was pretty tough dodging the weather, cold and the impending darkness but it certainly kept me on my toes! Hope they dont put perspex on it, would be a real shame, hope the taggers respect all the sheer hard work that went in to it

Well you pulled it off buddy!! Looks superb. Great contrast between the classic style of the painting of the fruit and the street/urban (never know the correct terminology!) style of the figures - works really well imo. c

Oliver Winconek π¬π§ Portrait Artist β’ Oil Paintings , by Oliver Winconek on Jan 12, 2010 18:16:47 GMT 1, Hi all, have been working on a few new pieces since getting back from my xmas break.
As a lot of you will know, towards the end of last year I started to create new artwork using Freehand Acrylics mixed with spray paint. I felt the next step was to start mixing stencils with my freehand painting, here are the results. All feedback welcome

You're one of very few people who's style I recognise right off, and I agree the use of freehand adds so much more to the pieces than stencilling alone ever could.

aspyhole - I mean traditional painting with a paintbrush as opposed to applying the Acrylic through a stencil or some other means
