Tricky, I need a can to go with my Banksy but may wait for another colourway. Would've gone for it if I didnt see the initial release price.

That's a Soup Can and a Peter Blake 'Origins of Pop VII' this week. I really hope they don't release any more Soup Cans this month.

I was having a think about it when it was at $250 then it suddenly went to $350! So bought it having felt like I had thrown away $100.

I reckon the next colourway may be more popular. You'll get everyone going for the set as well as those who missed these at the lower price. If the price continues to rise on these like they did on the original colourway that will make people even more keen to get them early.

I grabbed one - first Obey print I've liked in a long while in both conception and image. I think if you buy into the whole...Shep is his generation's Warhol, it is an iconic print.

This piece is a beauty and worth every penny at $500 and under. I would have pulled the trigger on this if I had not just this evening picked up a Shep stencil collage on paper edition of two this evening..... ;D ;D

I felt a bit better having one locked at $450 in my basket then seeing it go to $500 in another window. I think the US are stuck in rush hour so the price will probably hike up by our breakfast.

Pricing rubbish? I think this is one of the better ways to sell sought-after prints. It hopefully deters the speculators enough and makes the purchasers actually give some thought to how badly they really want a work.

Hopefully they didn't all get in first, and as the price rose more and more checked out of the potential buying pool.

Know what you mean and also know how edition pricing works but its inevitable that some punters will get in first with a view to selling on, some maybe even as soon as the end of the edition.
