Probably the wrong place to put this as i imagine the best place for it is in an auction house but this is my first port of call as i know there are some neate fans on here and maybe we can cut out the middle man - who knows

The piece was featured heavily in a CNN world wide broadcast about adam a few years ago and is also featured in the elms hardback limited book.



I am letting go my stunning neate gallery piece from 2006 entitled 'the blue couple'
This is personally my favorite painting period from neate, when he was at his rawest and most organic. It is framed in a john jones white box frame and measures 130 / 170 cm

Im sure we all know that neates show is coming up and his style has changed dramatically so if you are after a classic neate at nearly half the price of his current primary elms price then this may be the one for you.

If there is anyone seriously interested and wants to talk more with me then feel free to pm and we can go from there. FYI i am willing to talk trades + cash for this as i know money is not readily available for everyone at the moment but the trades would have to lie in the signed Banksy / Os Gemeos / Parla or KAW's bracket.

FYI - I had the piece reframed at John Johns just 2 months ago so it is in a fresh frame for archival reasons.

I'm flabbergasted.. not only by the piece, but also by the fact that not so long ago there was somebody on the Adam Neate forum that was looking for a lot of information about Adam Neate and he wanted to invest in a Neate piece.. He told me he, eventually, bought this piece.. I just can't believe this person would have been Volvic...

so you are the guy from the Neate forum.. well, it is your piece, you should know what to do with it.. shame you have to sell it this quick (6 months or so?) Dont think the invest will pay off this soon.

I just hope for you the sale has nothing to do with other problems or anything like that.. you sounded so happy when you bought it..
