Have you tried the kidrobot forums at all? Someone there might snatch this up.

Most users there go off of a 'price guide' that is kept somewhat up to date, which has this piece priced between $950-$1100. Not too far off your asking price though.

Have a look for a glass dome here, not tried them myself but had it saved in my favourites for when I picked up a Sorayama!
