DOH' NUTS, by dantefires on Jul 30, 2009 9:17:14 GMT 1, I know its a very long shot, but if anyone wants to sell their Donut, I am interested and would pay up to ยฃ1200 for this.
I do have some swaps as well if anyone is interested.
PM is anyone has anything to offer.
Cheers

Dave, I find your remarks rather odd.
Of course he 'really wants' it as he would not have posted his desire to get one if he did not. And why question someone willing to pay 1.2k for a signed Banksy when this is probably the lowest price a signed one has ever sold for?
I do agree it was a shame he did not pick one up at cost. But then again, its a shame for me and many hundred of thousands of other people who did not pick one up at cost.
I do not understand why many on this BANKSY forum are trying to talk down this print / pow / the way they were released. It only looks like those with the 'upper hand' in getting multiple copies of previous releases are now bitter that POW have stopped this happening. Those that invested in dodgy software to get a few have now been stopped. Well done POW and all of those involved.
Good luck in trying to get one. I am sure its a great print.

DOH' NUTS, by dh on Jul 30, 2009 11:15:01 GMT 1, Perhaps I did not word that correctly, just saying you have X amount of people winning the print just to make money and people like dantefires having to pay a a ridiculous amount of money the very next day to grab one. I can't see how this is any different to a normal release as it won't change a thing. I think it would of been better to charge 1k per print from POW. Also if someone is willing to pay ยฃ1200 for it they most certainly wanted it more than me.

DOH' NUTS, by jcoventry on Jul 30, 2009 11:22:47 GMT 1, I think the lottery system will actually give more "ordinary" people a chance to own a banksy. I actually think that less people will be in it for the money. I won one, and contemplated selling it, but it feels more of a "win" and I think i'd like to keep it. I certainly think they are going to be worth in excess of ยฃ1200, especially considering it is linked to one of Banksys best shows in Bristol.. I suppose only time will tell.. if it is up on my wall it is kind of irrelevant how much it is worth anyway..
This print looks much more salable than nola or tescos, and much more relevant to the US market.
