I would have said the heart is just as fake...but then as Graem 501 said maybe I am just shooting my mouth off and I certainly don't know for sure, just judging on intuition.....

when i said shooting your mouth off perhaps that was too harsh, just that comments like that can ruin someone's legitimate auction, and i dont think its very fair if its just opinion with no fact

I totally agree Jopkop. It was great going through pages of his work now and then. Perhaps he felt it gave people something to base forgeries on, as some of his line work was quite minimalist and not that difficult to copy...? He's seeme happy to get Mike to alert us when he becomes aware of fakes on ebay in the past, so hopefully he'll continue with that and maybe someone will even get in touch with any winning bidders when this is the case too! I'm sure he has his reasons for taking the site down.

I think that when we put all our pictures together we will have a nice collection

That site was an evolution - without that evolution who you have now is slightly out of context - if that's how people think (and positively believe) is AN then they're slightly off the beaten track - imho.
Without context you have only NOW - which for a great many people isn't quite the story.
if anyone has a few of those pages let me know ... i have a couple and i know there's a few over at different shows he did.
(period late 03 -> early 04 was a serious turning point).
I'm certainly not against AN forgetting about the past - from my viewpoint (perhaps only) well it's a different matter.
