Shepard Fairey Revolution Woman set of PPs

We have a complete set of all four Printers Proofs from Shepard Fairey's Revolutionary Woman 2005 print set printed by Modern Multiples from the edition of 6 proofs with matching numbers. Each large format fine art print is 29.25" x 42 inches (although everywhere I have read says they should be 30" they measure 29.25") contains Angela Davis, Muslim Woman, Revolutionary Girl and Zapatista Woman they are from the 6 printers proofs all matching number and signed/dated by Shep purchased directly from Modern Multiples by the current owner in 2005.

Also have an Angela Davis HC from the same series but edition of 3 HC, but on white paper for $2000



and an "Obey 95 Gallery Edition" PP from edition of 4 for $3000

aargh...must resist, what does HC stand for ?

HC stands for 'hors de commerce' which means a print outside the numbered run normally used by the publisher for sales purposes. Traditionally these would be prints rejected for the main run due to minor flaws, although this isn't necessarily the case, particularly these days when PP's, AP's and HC's are just an excuse to extend the print run.

A number of the prints on display at the Laz SHOP are marked HC and presumably will never be sold as they look a bit battered.
