Nick Walker • The Empire's State, by klyde on Jan 5, 2009 17:45:55 GMT 1, Me too; I'll be heading down about 7ish as well, by which time they will be all gone. It's a good show though so worth a gander either way I thought this was a good way to release the print if it had been kept quiet but now I'm expecting carnage and have therefore given up any hope of getting one. It's a flippers paradise I have to agree with you there. The selfish side of me is now extremely pished off that all of this info has been released and that preview tickets are on general sale. I thought BRP were deliberately keeping this release fairly low-key to ensure true collectors had a chance to purchase and keep the flippers at (E)bay. I'm gonna be away skiing at the time but managed to convince my non-skiing gf to go on my behalf. Probably best tell her not to bother now - can see this turning fairly ugly tbh. Anyway - good luck to those who, like me, intended to hang this print on their wall and not ebay. And if any cnut tries to flog this on the forum for twice or thrice the price they paid I will personally hunt you down and give you a wedgie.
Do you think flippers are still interested in Walker?
Ratatouille was going for cost or below about 1 week after on ebay, and that was a small edition of 95.

After the London Edition this is the best MA image. Pretty sure it will be well saught after, and if only an edition of 95 then even more so. London Edition is still selling for £2K+ so enough profit there to attract certain individuals!

He is being trained up for the job, without a doubt!

Nick Walker • The Empire's State, by Nuno on Jan 5, 2009 18:27:18 GMT 1, i think if darren is to be the next Manchester united manager then he has about 2-3 years to get himself to a bigger club and prove himself there, Surely they wont take a manager straight from League One with no premiership experience, regardless of who his dad is. This thread is prob far enough off topic now, so i will leave it there.

;D ;D ;D
Posh won't be a League 1 club, in 3- 4 years they will be Premiership! ;D
Seriously, Darren will be with us two more seasons, he is a fully badged coach/manager unlike Paul Ince. He has worked hard to do everything by the book, he is serving his 'apprenticeship' at Posh, he will probably move on to a low end Premiership club for a couple of years (Spurs for example! ;D) Then he will be the next Man U Manager, 5-6 years!
His Old Man is down the Posh week after week, they won't ever advertise their future plans, just watch this space!!

every thing by the book
Posh boss Ferguson arrested and bailed
PETERBOROUGH United manager Darren Ferguson was arrested for allegedly assaulting his estranged wife outside his dad Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson's mansion, it was disclosed today (December 1). Mr Ferguson (35) was held after an alleged row with 28-year-old Nadine Ferguson on the front drive of Sir Alex's £2 million house in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
It is not known whether Sir Alex, manager of Manchester United, was at home at the time of the incident on October 23.
A spokesman for Cheshire police said: "We were called to an address in Wilmslow in October after an allegation of assault.
"A 35-year-old man was arrested, questioned, and was released on bail until December 6 pending further enquiries."
Darren Ferguson declined to comment.
Edit
And I'm sure he was involved in some doggy deals a few years ago, well his brother Jason was, exposed on BBC panorama a while back, he dad is a great manager (i hate saying that) but his son will always be in his shadow and as yet are not showing the type of form or public profile that the Manu PLC board would welcome. unless Darren wins the premiership with posh in a few years. and even then it might depend on the other Manu old boys not doing so well. (imo)
