I agree with northernmonkey. I also suspect these two pieces will be a source of embarrassment for you in the future. They simply scream out "17-year old boy's bedroom decor".

My advice would be to reconsider both purchases. If, on reflection, you decide you want to keep these pieces, then I would suggest plain white box frames.

Agree with hungrig on the plain white box frame, perhaps with a blind of some sort that you can pull down. Perhaps something like this? To protect it from the sun of course! [Just having a bit of fun ]

Fair enough Silky, I was only pulling Quackers leg. Truth is I've bought a couple of pieces of art in the past that I have since regretted. It's par for the course isn't it.

Quackers, ignore them. Some people are just can't let go of the stupid 'have a go at Hutch' game. They both look good, I have got 'Shooting Colours' by Hutch which I have had for over a year and not once felt embarrassed by it, and is still on my hall wall at home. And as for so called ripping off D-Face, that's bollox. That image was used long before D got there, from WW2 onwards.

I got in touch with him through flickr, you'll need a flickr account to use the IM but that only takes a couple of minutes to set up.
