But, HC- Thank you for being mildly diplomatic in your post. And, the kind words about my prints. It almost nullifies the 3 childish post prior to yours. Cheers.

No offense intended - diplomacy was never a great strength of mine! However the prices don't seem terribly reflective of what's going on at the moment (in either the secondary print market or real world). And be reasonable; the only listed sale for 5 months on EB is half what you're asking ($533 in December), so if you're gonna use EB as a reference, you should probably start with the most recent results available. With the market on the whole, still appearing to be in decline, your prices do seem a touch high. None of this detracts from the beauty of the art of course!
I'd love to take the Monkey Pod Tree and am happy to trade a couple of my unframed prints for it. If you're potentially interested in swaps, I can send a shortlist of options by PM. I can't consider any cash deals right now though or I'd have made an offer already.
Either way, good luck with the sale.

2 very rare OBEY prints - low numbers, by limitup on Feb 24, 2009 18:09:06 GMT 1, No trades. My pricing is accurate to the 6mth average.
In terms of the last recorded sale... It looks like somebody got lucky. And, as you can see, the last Monkey Pod sold previous to that, was for $1k. Which was done on the secondary market, in the real world that we live in(long after the economy started crashing).
That being said, when referencing anything on EB, it's common practice to consider the average. This is done by buyers and sellers, alike.
If you don't like the prices - keep waiting. There's a whopping 150+ Metropark Monkey Pod prints in circulation. At least a few of them have got to be in the hands of collectors willing to sell. At least a few, right?!
So, I think average pricing is a fair way to go, for both parties involved.
Banksee - You make a post on my thread, laced with sarcasm and negativity... Then, you have the ummitigated gall to make proposals shortly there after???...... Take a walk.

But you yourself just said posts above this one
"That being said, when referencing anything on EB, it's common practice to consider the average. This is done by buyers and sellers, alike. "
So you think the two sold on ebay in december for roughly $300, and the one that sold last month for $280 are all crazy outrageous deals and in this case ebeans should be ignored. Seems reasonable.

He's right though. The highest recorded sale EVER of 41 listed on EB is $350. You're asking triple that, you can't have any argument that you're pricing is remotely reasonable when both prints have sold recently on ebay for a third of your listed prices there. And I'd think one could def' pick up a "Rise Above Arrows Pattern" for close to $300 + postage in EB if they wanted, as several are listed there and all sellers and buyers there would be expecting to use the EB stats to gauge a fair price.
Out of interest, was there some sinister reason you changed your forum name from Boston Long Stroke to Limit Up?

I figured he didn't want the people on thegiant who know him posting over there as bostonlongstroke to know that he was trying to sell these at asinine prices. You'd figure he'd offer them there first if he actually thought the prices were reasonable.

Refer to my previous post. If you can get 1 for cheaper, do it.
