WTB: Shepard Fairey "Arab Woman" on metal or wood

Know is complete long shot but was wondering if anyone on here has and wants to sell... Anyone hazard a guess how much these art pieces would be now?

I used to have 2 of the Arab Woman Gold. 1 of which was an AP. I'm kicking myself for letting that 1 go.


I let it go about 6mths ago. And, I let it go for short change - $200. The last 1 that sold went for better than $500.

Definitely opt for the wood. The ink on the metal is easily scratched. So I'm told.

never knew that... yeah more i look at the one on wood the more i like... maybe someone will take a look at this thread and let the owners know...lol... gutted missed out from the beginning but only recently really took time to see his work and when i saw the arab woman thought was one of the best art pieces that i have seen.... s

Shepard produces 2 wood versions. Straight silkscreen on wood and HPM on wood (collage background on wood which is then silkscreened on top of). There are typically 3 (including one AP) of each version if the version is produced for this image, both versions on wood were produced for Arab Woman. Reatail on each is higher than the $1200-$1300 mentioned above. In all reality it will be very very difficult to find one. Good luck.

i bought this at a sea shepard charity auction last year that shep was involved with, he gave the images to the person doing the event and they were printed with "UV INK" on thick bamboo wood as one offs and shep signed them, its 34"x46"





but im in southern california....and this thing would be nuts to ship, its quite heavy.

and yes, post on thegiant.org and you should be able to locate it without any issue.

my guess is like 40-50 pounds, not sure how many stone that is....search on thegiant.org, come to me as a last resort as i wasnt planning on letting this go right away, haha

Those bamboo pieces Shepard did for the benefit are great looking, very clean, and nice and big (there was also a Monkey Pod I believe). The HPM wood and silkscreen wood versions are the normal 18x24" size. Great purchase T&P

the cool thing about the bamboo pieces was that they were auctioned off starting cheap, like $300 or so...some went for $700 or so, some for $3k. i lucked out with this piece around $1200. they arent hand silkscreened or anything, but they look awesome and i know mine is the only one around.

there was a Mujer Fatal on wood at the london art fair, beautiful it was - it was snapped up very quickly
