I keep clicking 'buy now,' only to find an empty basket.

I would luv 1 of these sets, if somebody else can access the stock, into their cart.

I even bought a set of these for my sister. Great christmas present and her first bit of art. Though if they start flying out for £500 on ebay USA she can f**k right off. She can have a toblerone and I will spend new year in Spain.

Received my two orders of this today. The quality is not the best but they are signed and numbered. Though not matching which is a shame. Well at least one Christmas present has turned up.

I thought this was a very nice little collectors' item, 2 signed, low edition Obey prints + the books (classics). The 1984 print is a cool image imo, but I didn't/don't have a spare £100 for keep-sakes right now and I wouldn't put these prints on the wall personally. I hope the quality is acceptable and that those of you who swung for this are pleased with and enjoy it.

Thats what im hoping Hc, really cool package of great reading and a couple of nice edition prints, hope the quality is up to scratch

Hi Ronhill. The prints seemed very thin rolled together in 1 tube, the signiture on the print was from a dark pen which didnt stand out that much on a dark background. To be fair though two signed Fairey prints with 2 classic novels for £80 I shouldnt really be complaining. Just cant put my finger on it though I think I probably expected something a bit more special from penguin.

Nope.. they are offsets. Have heard they are shipped with not craft papaer sliding around in the tubes. From EB

I got mine yesterday, cannot be happier with them. I rather like the paper they are on, a sort of stiff oatmeal wove. The colours are fantastic, and I guess I got lucky but mine were packed perfectly so no damage.

I always thought it was a bit strange when they had them listed as screen prints because of the preview pics (not the rolled up shiny ones that were at the top of the page) but the small jpegs

as that collage detail was the first clue that they would be offsets, not recieved mine yet but apparantly they have a very similar look to the War by numbers offset print which is all good in my opinion. And will probably make for a better print from the fact that they were offsets as they would of had to of been about 12 colour screen prints to get a similar collage look to them.

If they did go for the standard Obey 3 colour screen print process they probably would of ended up as quite boring prints......

Someone on Ebeans even phoned penguin and asked if they were definatly screen prints and the lady on the phone confirmed they were, But she was probably reading off the website and more than likely had not seen the things first hand and even if she had does the average Joe know a screen print from an offset?

I haven't actually recieved mine and the previous pictures were just posted up from EB... BUT it turns out they are screen prints.. (4 colours maybe??).. I can't believe people don't know the difference but i was just posting what others had said at EB.
