ANOTHER VLH ON EBAY, by craigf on Dec 13, 2008 10:22:36 GMT 1, I'd like either of the new Banksy's, but I'm holding tight until prices settle and I'm sure I have a space on the wall for them. If prices stay high I'll be diving into my folder and getting some of them on the wall, which is of course what I bought them for ;D

the old lawyer father is pretty sure this is not allowed and is an unfair t+c, something to do with 1977 but i wasnt really listening to him... and im sure if someone lost 2 grand because POW took away their banksy before they got it there might be some potential earnings claims against POW on the horizion?

as discussed about 1000 times. the lottery gave away 259 of the 299.. the other 40 went to friends and gallerys.
POW said they take 10 and laz take 10 of every banksy edition.

ANOTHER VLH ON EBAY, by craigf on Dec 14, 2008 9:53:49 GMT 1, They will keep popping up over the next 6 - 12 months. The economy isn't about to improve and a four figure profit is always going to be enough to tempt people who need cash over art. I don't think Tesco will accept a VLH's in exchange for food

ANOTHER VLH ON EBAY, by richy00 on Dec 14, 2008 11:40:59 GMT 1, i dont think they have the power to cancel orders, i mean the have done in the past obviously BUT had a big discussion over xfactor last night with the dad and he is pretty sure its an unfair t+c and you could argue a case of loss of future earnings.
if pow are reading he also knew a way you could include such a clause. he is big contract lawyer for middle eastern royal.

ANOTHER VLH ON EBAY, by richy00 on Dec 15, 2008 18:01:21 GMT 1, i was just interested in if it was a legal thing to do. i dont care if someone flips a print.. none of my business. im sure they all have their own reasons in doing so, weather its just to make money, or to fund a change in circumstances, or to buy another print, its not upto me to judge someone i have never met.

ANOTHER VLH ON EBAY, by craigf on Dec 16, 2008 8:42:31 GMT 1, Applause remains the best value Banksy if viewed at price per square inch, but I am quite happy there has been a smaller sized release as its easier to find space to hang it. That said I didn't manage to get one so will just have to walk past a blank space for the foreseeable future

Me too Applause is a classic. No colourways or versions. One day...

ANOTHER VLH ON EBAY, by snausages on Dec 17, 2008 4:21:46 GMT 1, Just checking things and noticed that the first VLH sold on ebay for ยฃ4500 was presumably bought by an auction wrecker โ who's name just happens to be 'timjohn212' cgi.ebay.co.uk/Banksy-very-little-helps-SIGNED-PRINT-POW-TESCO-NOLA_W0QQitemZ230313750359
Thought this name seemed familiar ...and then I recalled this is the same louse that bid up the Jose Parla print a couple months back to an astronomical $6000 at the time and then never showed up to pay for it. Wow, that was a shocker. Find this funny because I called this issue out on the forum and got my arse reamed out by several people for my 'wild speculation' that this zero feedback bidder who bid way over the odds for a small Parla print was a phony. I find it amazing how many people took that result at face value. Now I'm still not saying that Ricos per se was behind it, but definitely someone, whoever it is, for whatever reason ...was seriously trying to f*&k with peoples heads and or manipulate the market for Jose's prints. - cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300262779806
Apparently this moron still has nothing better to do with his/her life than waste time wrecking peoples auctions. I don't condone flipping a VLH for ยฃ4500 but this is such a stupid and childish act. Ironic that he's wrecking peoples auctions for flipping a print yet he manipulates the price of prints I would assume he owns.
