What I think, artangiela, is that you are a manipulative and dishonest person. More damningly, you seem incompetent.
It is especially the latter trait that makes you a liability for Print Them All.
If I were therefore owner of the company (even an owner who happened to be just as manipulative and dishonest as you), you'd be fired for incompetence, poor judgement and stupidity.
__________
To deceive one's customers, to deliberately mislead them by giving a false impression of collector interest in a print release, is to treat those customers with contempt.
Now, such a decision to shun ethical business practices and choose an alternative path is pretty straightforward.
But it does also require a minimum of finesse and intelligence (in particular, guile). This, to avoid being caught out. Because, if caught out and publicly exposed, the inevitable blowback could easily turn into a public relations fiasco. It's the kind of mud that often sticks:
Ah yes, Print Them All, the one that thought it was being clever, by registering multiple accounts under different usernames and posing as excited punters — thereby taking its actual customers for idiots.
The argument I would put forward is that your team, collectively, lacks the necessary finesse and intelligence to be successfully dishonest. Since your dishonesty is too obvious.
__________
Print Them All has harmed itself by its actions here.
I, for example, would no longer care to deal with the company. Or be associated with its staff. There are just so many other publishers around — publishers who behave in a reputable manner, and to whom I would thus prefer giving my business.
Hopefully, Print Them All will at some point reconsider its position on deceptive marketing, and shift course.
If not out of integrity, then perhaps out of reputational self‑interest.

How much was the staff discount?
