I've been juggling quite a few projects this year and have not had a ton of time to gather my thoughts and create something just for myself. I made this print as a response to getting stressed out in my down time when reading the news or scrolling through instragram and being met by constant images and reports of human atrocities.
Burnt Out is an attempt to depict my feelings towards the sheer volume of distressing images and reports we're passively subjected to on a daily basis. Although I agree it's important to report and share what is happening in order to pressure on our leaders to act, a knock on affect is that I am watching, on a daily basis, the evils of humanity unfold in real time from the position of a spectator unable to intervene.
