I think their prices went a bit crazy for a while but hopefully this is ushering in a new era of realistic pricing. There’s no point running a charity event if all the prints remain unsold.

I wouldn’t say Nicolas Party was over hyped. He’s probably one of the most talented and exciting artists around. He’s definitely blue chip and his work sells for millions. Even the recent swimming pool he designed is incredible. That said only a handful of editions are really decent. I would say this Counter print is one of his best ones.

A lot of art there for just under £7k. Good works, big sizes and small editions. Compare that the the HM manifold release a while back nearly 15k and it puts things into perspective.

Yes his original pieces do very well, but being huge colourful canvases I would expect that. The prints will sell out, but none of his prints ever seem to do well on the secondary so I hope people are buying these for the love of having peaches/plums/bums on their walls.

Not sure if something's wrong with my eyes, but noticed Counter Editions is playing around with the figures at one point. Saw a jump to £4500 at one point and then corrected to £3500 within minutes...

What will sell out first? I’m gona guess the Bradford. Such a beaut, I think my favourite print she’s produced. My sister just bought one 2nd tier. $1700 including shipping to Washington.

Actually, I would have had the print from Party at first tier, but then I had problems with my credit card and ended up buying the print at third tier. Now I'm a bit frustrated about the extra cost on the one hand, but delighted with the purchase on the other. Well, in the end the joy will prevail.

Wow can't believe people paid £6k at 3rd tier for the Party! It's lovely don't get me wrong and not an unfair price if you like it and going to put on the wall, just hope people aren't looking to flip it.

Any publishers watching take note, very good drop. I'm not a huge fan of tiered pricing generally but understand why it's done and think it worked fairly well here. Overall just decent prints at sensible pricing, and perfect edition sizes for the artists to allow enough people to buy without saturating the market. Very well done Counter Editions, hopefully more like this to come.
