People complained about the printing on aluminium, these are on paper.
People complained about cheap paper, these come already framed.
People complained about the signature bring on a label on the back, these are signed on the front.
Low edition, decent images, good size.

I will pass, I'd rather to spend in on something else.

A total money grab. Why resurrect the Cherry Blossom prints?  Lazy release.  And way too expensive.  9K plus shipping.

Front signed, edition of only 100, and on paper rather than dibond.

Three big positives there and it's one of his most popular recent series with it being cherry blossoms.

These are going to be v popular.

Walnut is an inferior wood for frames, in fact wood itself is lame - especially when doing tree pictures.  Respect the trees, don't chop them down for cheap frames.

Isn’t it time Hirst gave up on these rectangular prints? It’s getting boring now. Straight edges were so fresh once upon a time but he’s flooded the market with them now.

Walnut is a beautiful hardwood.
Farmed FSC timber is a great way to manufacture.
Metal is not so good.

Let me try. 


- Motive: Capitalising on a past success, nothing artistic or creative imagewise
- Titles: calling them "Archangels" is just "cringeworthy"; the most ludicrous attempt to sell an object for something other than it is
- Format: Landscape format is less desirable than portrait, especially with this extreme ratio (although somewhat to personal taste and living situation)
- Printing technique: its the same crappy Giclee I'd assume, only without the dibond to hide the low quality and the soulless technique of reproduction
- Technique continued: it is still the printout of a photo (some on here call this "poster")
- Signature: that a print is signed on the front by the artist should not count as a bonus: that is the absolute standard = minimum

[The Origin]

I had a look at these earlier and they are signed dated 2021 so looks like he has sat on them for a while.

Based on the secondary market pricing of the Virtues of which there are somewhere in the region of 7000-8000 editions in total, the price of these at $7,500 for a total edition of 480 doesn't seem too over the top.
