Dolk BK on Ebay, by mose on May 7, 2008 0:24:35 GMT 1, kahuna, why wouldn't you just ask the seller(me) first before comments like this, especially before using the words 'fishy'? It would just be, I don't know, proper to do so. I would have been more than happy to have a discussion with you via ebay, provided you with any and all information including POW invoice number and scans of the POW confirmation email, taken any and all pictures you wanted, etc.
BTW, if you followed the auctions, I stated in the second one that the first auction had been won by a hacked account and was removed by ebay. Read for yourself: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170208552983&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT&ih=007 Further, if you followed, it is only 2 different prints we are talking about. Three auctions total, but only 2 prints.
Also, please check my feedback on ebay. That should have told you all you needed to know up front in order to remove any thought of impropriety. I work hard to make sure every transaction is a succesful one and take pride in going the extra mile for buyers, be it communication, packaging, payment options, etc. This, another Burger King sale, should illustrate that: banksyforum.proboards82.com/index.cgi?board=ebaychat&action=display&thread=12264 I also don't know why comments by generally unknown strangers speculating on a message board would have more impact than the comments left by a couple hundred happy buyers. But, I admit, that may just be my way of looking at things.
Also, is it any suprise that the person(me) who wrote this: www.thegiant.org/wiki/index.php/Dolk had several DOLK prints? Another bit of information I would have been happy to have provided had you contacted me through the ebay system instead of this, which is an almost unseemly call-out that really wasn't needed.

Dolk BK on Ebay, by kahuna on May 7, 2008 2:14:36 GMT 1, Appreciate you clarifying the situation and apologize but it did appear odd.
With all the fakes on ebay, honest responses from sellers are not always forthcoming

No problem at all, and I apologize if I came across as defensive. I take my selling reputation quite seriously and do my best to make sure every who buys from me has a great experience.
On the flip side, and unfortunately, honest bidders winning auctions these days are becoming rarer. There has been a tremendous rise in the number of hacked-account and non-paying biddgers lately. Re-listings have become a fact of life these days. Fortunately, I am almost done moving everything not on the walls to better homes that will hopefully give them the proper display they deserve.
thank you very much for the apology. cheers.

for real...
April '06 here, I think I was the 5th member of thegiant.org, remember the ebay Banksy board quite fondly(I am in the camp of those that thoroughly enjoyed thugs and appreciated the info. he provided). It's been a long, strange, but very rewarding last couple of years. This art thing, gets under your skin and takes control
