Banksys Extinction Rebellion Removed?, by loui on Feb 15, 2024 9:16:02 GMT 1, Maybe someone in charge sold it on to John Brandler. This is probably exactly what happened 🙄 There was a very intimate VIP event last week somewhere in London. I’m guessing someone of the very richest 1% of our population might have a newly built wall with an anti consumerism message around his pool (or property). Ain’t that funny or ain’t it.
Something else struck me; have you noticed on the banksy website the list with ‘fake’ shows has disappeared. Strangely the guy organising it went busted last year (reappearing though with a new company Fill the walls).
Ltd).

I don't know which is more delusional, the artists involvement in fake shows or Mason Storm claiming he has the guest list to the selling show. My reply to your earlier post is below.

My reply to your earlier post is below. Thanks! I deleted it because posted it in the middle of the night and thought to read it over before posting it. I’m not a fan of the Mason Storm character although he’s funny sometimes. He’s familiar to Steve. I guess the (UK)art world is a small world and there’s things going on. Andy Linky Link, JPS, they all say that RG is a fraud, and he’s living in some fairytale castle in LA. I guess with Holly Cushing then.
I seem to have some weird unbelievable faith that Robin G. can’t be as bad as some make him seem, but fact is that weird things have been going on regarding this change of direction from a marxist-leninist ideal to well, whatever it is now. But it’s suggestion, and based on nothing more then trying to make some sense of everyting that happened. I was wondering if the sale of Laz his business in London had anything to do with it all.
I miss the early Banksy days, it was a good and innocent time.

This kind of unscrupulous behaviour is quite common.
Many years ago I worked for a music festival, run by two partners. One year it went badly, as there was heavy rain in the run-up to the event, so there was an unexpected cost of £50k+ on trackway, sawdust, extra this and that. As a result the event lost a lot of money. The two partners declared their company bankrupt, so that they didn't have to pay the outstanding debts to their suppliers.
The following week the same two directors set up a new company, at the same registered address, to run the festival for the following years - nothing else changed. The suppliers got paid from the following year's profit, following a lot of tense negotations!
I still don't quite understand how you can do this legally, but it goes on all the time.

I never understand why people would want to live such a complex live. Like this Boersma guy, what is he searching for? Pics with celebs on facebook? Well, well done I guess 🤔
