I am the caretaker to the Banksy Umbrella Girl (NOLA) in New Orleans and have been for over a decade. I have also been working on a book about the history of all 17 pieces Banksy did in New Orleans in 2008.
I have all the standard stories and pictures and then some. What I am looking for is unusual stories and pictures that are not already out there for common consumption.
Looking to track down old property owners, and anyone who knows where a few of the missing pieces went off to:
-Trumpet Boy #1 which was cut out of wooden house and never resurfaced.
-Rat with broom which was cut out of wooden house and never resurfaced.
- Turtle with Hard Hat Shell "Slow Progress" (on a door). Stolen. A fake appeared on ebay, and later the original was auctioned at Kezler Gallery in the U. K. around 2013.
I am not looking to out anyone, just searching for the full story.

My original studio work of the Tortoise by Banksy is my favourite by him in my collection.

But as you’re here I would prefer if you would stop tagging original Banksys. As a fan you shouldn’t do this at all and additionally your Banksy ripoffs are detracting more than the other tags and graff.
