Two new Shrigley prints from Nicolai Wallner, by robo on Nov 19, 2023 21:22:44 GMT 1, I really like “Thank you for keeping still” and picked up a copy. It’s the closest I’ve seen Shrigley get to a figurative portrait, and it gently ribs all of figurative portraiture. Also, it has lovely sweeps of lush blue paint.

Presumably, this David Shrigley piece is also a parody of the Blue Nudes series of cut‑outs.
Or, at the very least, a not-so-subtle nod to Matisse.

Two new Shrigley prints from Nicolai Wallner, by LJCal on Nov 20, 2023 3:13:56 GMT 1, The frog could have been a good one if slightly better rendered, I have thus acrylic on paper with a frog which is fat better.

This release isn’t currently tiered I believe. They started at that price. (Though I’m sure the final ones will be sold much higher.) I checked them out at a few minuets after launch and they were €1777 I think.

Two new Shrigley prints from Nicolai Wallner, by Display_arts on Nov 20, 2023 9:29:45 GMT 1, It´s 2000€ including taxes from release or about 1778 Pounds.
The images are not so bad but to many releases during a time where the prints dont reach good prices in auctions so people who buy for profit will definetly pass or those who are sick of to many releases and focus more on outstanding prints.

Yeah the slightly poor execution is why I didn't go for the frog. Your one is nice LJCal.
