Yeah, would be much better just done as a free download, so people of the same views can print them up and share if they want.

I bought one for a laugh.....will never see a wall though!

Billy Childish is a great artist, but what really is the point of things like these? I mean I find it hard to believe they actually sell any, so it's just basically a political rant.

I just think it's a shame to see what was a great gallery and great artists producing things like this.

I'm afraid I can't agree.
They are political posters.
They are angry and rightly so.
Do people buy them. Sure. I bought a couple from the release a while ago.
Should they be free? I don't think so. He's got to eat, pay bills etc.
They aren't particularly expensive (well the ones I bought weren't).
People who don't like them don't have to buy them, and won't.
I hope he keeps it up. I hope they get angrier - the world needs voices like this.

I just see them as art pushing an opinion. I like to make my own decisions. And of course that's just my own opinion. The worlds full of dicks in charge, we just have to pick the one that was the lesser of a dick at the time, which of course doesn't always work out hence this kind of art.

I totally agree..As an example, I really love Peter Kennards Photo Op which to me is massively powerful in its meaning but I just couldn't bring myself to have that t**t on my wall regardless of my political views.

Pleased we agree. Only difference is that I accept that I will have people I disagree with on my wall, in the context of a political artwork.

]Maybe Kennard will be able to release a more up to date version incorporating Trump or May the way things are heading. I wouldn't be putting those on my wall either....I must admit though,it is the one image that I have hovered over purchasing the most out of every image I have ever seen so it's certainly left a mark... For a print I don't own that's pretty good going

Yes lost in translation. Just saying many will revel in how good he was when he is gone, I am not wishing that, I am just saying that he us a great talent now , I have 3 of his very rare early woodcuts and live his whole ethos.

Agree though I grabbed one for the kids room!!

Though I think with childish all these are more of a statement. It has certainly made us speak about it and why not add a price just in case anyway is that aggro enough to buy one? A bonus for him!
