Over 50 artists including Harry Adams, Billy Childish, Tracey Emin, Ryan Gander, Mona Hatoum, Susan Hiller, Tim Noble and Sue Webster, and Yinka Shonibare MBE, have generously donated their work to help the DACS Foundation raise money for their forthcoming funding initiatives and public programme.

The artworks are being auctioned by Paddle8 (ends 24th September) and Christie's (19th September).

For Whitechapel Gallery Billy Childish has created a new photogravure etching in an edition of 85, with each hand coloured by the artist. juju reclining is from a recent series of works which include unabashed nudes, self-portraits and dense woodland scenes. This edition was generously donated by the artist in support of The London Art Book Fair, September 2015 and is now available at a special 'Fundraiser Price' from Whitechapel Gallery.

Billy Childish is a great artist, but what really is the point of things like these? I mean I find it hard to believe they actually sell any, so it's just basically a political rant.
I just think it's a shame to see what was a great gallery and great artists producing things like this.

Childish is a lot more than an artist - punk, garage musician, poet, photographer, film maker, author and advocate of amateurism and free expression. These are his nod to anti-political flyposting. If only he'd release them as an open edition for anyone to paste up on the streets.
