Banksy Exhibition London in July, by Dubman on May 17, 2023 10:59:53 GMT 1, Guys beware of this crook, I would strongly advise against consigning with AOB.
After my dreadful experience, stories emerged of pieces being held at customs due to non payment - resulting in the owners having to fly out to pay to get their originals back. Customs have the right to sell any work to recover their losses!
I unfortunately consigned a fair number of prints for a USA leg of the tour, they all returned with damaged frames, scratched glass and I have been unable to get any compensation out of them - despite the damage clause in their contract.
Ultimately I was happy to get the pieces back, but there was a moment when I thought they were gone.
The entire experience was a nightmare, think twice before handing over your valuable work to this company.
Any one else have similar experiences?

I did also the mistake of renting a number of Banksy's print.. not with them but with a well known Banksy trader
it was a nightmare... and my best print was damaged because it wasn't framed professionally. Insurance did not covered damage. And if needed they don't respect contract.
I ended up with a small compensation.
My sincere advise is to NEVER NEVER NEVER rent your artwork especially to those shady Banksy's show.
i made I big mistake and payed for it!

Banksy Exhibition London in July, by Lunch Special on May 17, 2023 14:26:47 GMT 1, Anyone who would support a fake u authorized banksy exhibit with ther own personally owned works for some sort of compensation even though they not going to the artist should not complain when ish like this happens. You know what you was getting into. Banksy has frowned upon these unauthorized shows many a time. So dont cry a fowl now.

If you rent the works for an unauthorized exhibition... you are doing Banksy damage as well as yourself.

Banksy Exhibition London in July, by zoomrider on May 17, 2023 18:01:37 GMT 1, Aside from the obvious fact this is unauthorised and not to be condoned… I’m nevertheless intrigued by the mix of artwork on display.
I wonder what originals feature?! Lots of classic POW prints but also GDP works (welcome mat is confirmed as a classic Banksy artwork on this basis!), walled off hotel and even recent Ukraine references (will the stamps make an appearance?!).

There are fake Banksy record sleeves on display, they may as well pack it out with WCP and Mrs Banksy tat too.
It's embarrassing.

Below is a memorable photo from The Art of Banksy - Atlanta (3 Sep. 2021–16 Jan. 2022)*.
Some outstanding research there by the curation team. Maybe those professionals also had help from the "Global Lifestyle Brand", GUESS.

Sorry to hear about their bad dealings, will definitely make me think twice about visiting this exhibition. So sad that it's one of the only ways to see most of his work...

Banksy Exhibition London in July, by The Greased Piglet on May 18, 2023 9:24:37 GMT 1, You may as well just go to Maddox, Andipa and Hang Up for the day, it’ll cost you nothing and at least all the works will actually be legit. In fact wait until September and hit Sothebys when there’s a Banksy sale on. There’s a massive OG up in Maddox right now, Andipa have some originals on display I think as well and between them you’ll see a load of prints. This looks like an absolute shit show and a complete waste of money.

The piece was returned with the frame damaged and the print itself sitting crooked under the mount.
Stuff of nightmares.
