It’s with great regret that I’ve decided to part with my Paul insect original puppet. It’s listed on eBay but feel free to shoot any questions here. Long story cut short, we’ve adopted a young boy and we want my wife to be able to take 12 months lesve to assist with the bonding process instead of 6 months but statutory adoption pay is garbage so needs must…

Didnt this thing sell on here a few months ago or is this different? I thought this puppet sold on here a while ago and the price was quite different cause at that price I was interested. I could be wrong. If so, what is the history? Is it unique?

I just looked it up - it sold for 2155 GBP after sitting for quite a while. If you need to sell I might be interested at that price but I dont think it's tripled in less than a year in a down art market.

Thanks for the message. Yes you’re right, I bought it last year. For an original PINS puppet, it was criminally underpriced. I’ve spoken with two auction houses and with PINS himself and this was the price that was thrown around. I’m not in a rush because we both have overdrafts and credit cards, as a side, I’ve declined an offer of £4,000. It’s super unique and will sell to the right buyer. Thanks! I suppose it could be construed as a sculpture or a puppet. It’s soft and fluffy but also rigid. I guess that adds to the uniqueness and rarity, ha.
