Hi, I also would have preferred a colorful edition.
However, this portrait is quite strong and I think it is appealing. The more I see it the more I like it.
At the end, most probably a successful edition

Yeah it would be too easy and predictable for him to release thousands of colourful landscape prints. Good to see the artist doing his own thing and experimenting with woodblock, screenprint, mezzotint, etchings etc

For those that didn't receive preorder - looks like there is a pop up on the main site to register interest for the public sale. No idea why they reached out to me other than I bought a signed book. Since i ordered this, have the signed paperback book I'd probably sell to someone who missed out the first go around.

I think woodcuts are definitely more unique than the giclees or screenprints that get churned out so frequently these days. The image also really captures his style - you immediately know its his work. And for the price, I don't think it gets much better to have something of his for my walls.
