Looking back at all the fawning and praise that forum heaped on him, myself included, I am embarrassed in hindsight. I can honestly say that Josh Keyes left a tiny, indelible negative mark on me. I did learn from it in any case.

Personally, i devoted too much time trying to get on Josh's and his galleries' "good boy lists" and all for naught. What a cluster fuck that was. Felt very good unloading ALL of his prints that I owned eventually, spare one or two that nobody still to this day wants. Looking back at all the fawning and praise that forum heaped on him, myself included, I am embarrassed in hindsight. I can honestly say that Josh Keyes left a tiny, indelible negative mark on me. I did learn from it in any case. |

I don't know the specifics on Keyes but literally every popular artist starts out unknown and has a list of buyers and the minute Lebron or Tiesto or Pitbull or Drake or whoever or big galleries or collectors want in, they jump to the top of the list... I'd be surprised more when that does not happen than when it does.
I like the piece. It's a very nice painting. I am not certain of his values or potential to climb in the future but this is a lovely painting. Good luck with the sale. I wish it was a bit bigger as I personally tend to buy larger artworks but again amazing image! Like it a lot more than the recent stuff.
