Bad Means Good hammered after 10 bids at £220k which with fees+VAT+ARR is £295k.

TBH I don't know if that represents a good price or not?

There are only 4 but its not one of my personal favourites?

One was sold privately at the start of 2020 for £100k.

It's still an original instead of a signed print. But to be fair to people buying the majority of Banksy images, they aren't exactly great art work.

I only have a napalm from WCP, which I do think is one of Banksy's better images.

And to be clear, I have said and will continue to say to buy a WCP instead of some poster that has fakes if you want a Banksy image on your wall.

Yes I’ve seen it. I don’t imagine it will stay cheap at the end of the auction. It should do better than this one IMO even though it’s smaller and from series of 25

One fractionally smaller (25.5x30.4) sold at Sothebys in October for £315k
This one is 30.5 x 30.5 - both ed25 and similar in style.
I reckon the days are numbered getting anything original in this price range unless it's a terrible image or in poor condition.

I think you are right. The ‘good means bad’ canvas I wouldn’t instantly say that’s a Banksy whereas the Heavy Weaponry I would. 

Having signed prints is one thing, having an original is another.

Heavy Weaponry is a classic image, that the artist still uses today. No comparison to the good meaning bad canvas. If I was in the market for an original I would keep an eye on this one, could be a bargain compared to what some prints just went for. I agree with the above poster, prints are one thing but an original is a whole another level and will surely be a better investment in coming years.
