I prefer to open it, enjoy it for a couple of years and if someone pays me a crazy price I will let it go maybe one day... dont care if I get 10% less than an unopened one... will get anyway more than I paid.

You should just buy the tiles, make your own copy for the wall, and leave the actual piece sealed and in a drawer somewhere as, for display purposes, there would be zero difference.

I'm not as hung up on condition issues as many seem to be but f I were ever looking for one of these I would only really consider an unopened one.

Okay... then photocopy all your art and put the “actual” piece in a flat folder... 😃 good thing is - everyone can do as they please. I’m happy to own an IK and display it with pride.

That is not the same thing at all though is it? A bunch of store bought tiles are EXACTLY the same, to any eye, whereas a photocopy is, well, a photocopy. 

And, you can wind your neck in with the attitude, I wasn't being prescriptive...

And I just stated my opinion: if you buy art, display it! Here is what Inavder has to say about it... it’s totally fine to buy tiles and put them on your walls...

Sorry but the kits have all their interests sealed ( the bag is signed not the kit ). That’s what I have done and what I will do ... art, specially Invader lost a lot of value since last year.
Kits are not prints to photocopy , they are kits.

That one black tile that prevents the kit from being symmetrical makes my OCD go bonkers.

Great kit and the framing is clean. It's kit abuse to keep them suffocated in the bags. Best of luck.
