At this point do not intend to sell, but actively seeking informed valuations.

Please put any ideas / information in this thread. 

If a long-sought piece becomes available and I can afford it, may sell 1 or both of these IKs to fund it.
But that is a last resort as I love these 2 pieces.  Sold off most all my Invader pieces on paper to be able to get / keep these kits.

NOTE: Only displayed to take these photos.  Stored in plastic cases inside temp and humidity-controlled camera cabinet. Take cases out from time to time and ogle, but don't handle the packages.

He's missing in my collection by the way.... But to be honest, I don't plan any addition, I realized (please don't blame me) that it's a real pity to keep them in a drawer!!
As of the actual value I might not be updated, so I cannot be of any help.....hope someone will answer to your request! Cheers

150 signed by editions I think.

Not really my friend. All the 150 copies are numbered, but only 50 are signed on the front of the envelope with the classic Invader's silver marker.....

IK 6 was first edition that had any Signed copies (50).
IK 7 also had 50 Signed.
IK 8 - IK 12 had only 30 Signed.

As a former autograph collector, I personally love the big fat silver full signature and Invader icon drawing on face of the older kits.

Thanks mate for the extra details on signed kits!! I just would add that also kit #13 has 30 copies signed with the silver marker. From #14 to #16 all the copies are signed in colored pen on the paper tag on the back.

On a semi-related tangent, I would like to see Invader package any new kits like small Alias models.

I thought the huge Anti-Static bag on the MSF kits looked absurd. Like dry-cleaning.
Beautiful kit that needs presentation worthy of it.

Easy enough to stick the tiles to a plexi panel and sign on verso, or on attached COA card.

I'd like to see the day of the precious plastic electronics parts sac be finished.

I had asked the same for the MSF kit, and asked as a fallback option if they could make a display like the ones they make for aliases that the MSF kit owners could purchase to mount their kit.

Unfortunately did not work out.

I also assume quite a few of these will never leave their bags (I know of only 3 that are out of the bag including mine)

Interesting story...other minds thinking the same way apparently.

Too bad didn't work out for the MSF (Congrats! on that score BTW, supreme piece of art), but cool that you brought that up with them.

They need to up their game and get any future kits (there will be, right!?) mounted flat on plexi or aluminum.  That system is already in place. 

No piece of art should force you to damage the COA/Signature to access and display it.

Maybe if they keep hearing it more times in more places from more faces....

Do you think there will be other kits issues in the next future? I'm afraid not..... but who knows!

matt if you dared to open the MSF perhaps I should decide to open a few of mine.... I just opened my first one, the third eye, which looks great in its frame!! Perhaps another good idea would be to set a COA service like Pest Control, so we could finally open those bags without any anxiety!!

I sold my IK 14 & 15 framed, with the bag and receipt, and sold for the price of unopened.

My MSF is happily sitting out of its bag with a copy of the massive bag on the back

Inspired by the Alias, I opened my IK16, and stuck it to a slab of black plexi and hung it on the wall. After doing so, I did have a slight regret, but seeing it on the wall makes me smile. The bag is in a drawer somewhere.

I've often thought that if I ever get another IK, I could just make a replica and stick that on some plexi and keep the real one intact.
