But anyway, I sold and sent it off to Japan in original box and barely any cushioning. No surprise the buyer was totally disappointed as its foot had broken off! he sent it back to me and I refunded him. I still have it, and I expect you can glue the parts back together fairly easily

Thanks for that,l guess I’ve wiped out any value and now an ornanment (but a cool one!)

For repairing cherished heirlooms, use Loctite® Ultra Gel™ Super Glue.
Be sure both surfaces of the broken figurine are clean and clear of debris.
Apply a drop of Loctite Ultra Gel Super Glue to one of the broken pieces.
Press the pieces together, ensuring a tightly matched fit, and hold firmly, or splice with lollipop sticks and tape

For large pieces Gorilla Epoxy or Araldite glue takes epoxy to the Tough level. The easy-to-use syringe keeps the epoxy resin and hardener separate, so it is easy to dispense. The two-part, gap-filling formula easily bonds steel, aluminum, glass, wood, ceramic, tile and most plastics.
Can you fix cracked resin?
Fill the crack with a fair amount of fiberglass epoxy resin, using a plastic applicator. Make sure the crack is completely filled. Let the epoxy dry for a day. When the area is dry, smooth the surface with sandpaper.
Repainting may need to be done for full restoration

I went to an art restoration company, did not cost a fortune but know its been done properly

it’s not that surprising. As I said I bought a set years ago for about £140 for the pair. Very well made with lots of detail. Considering some of the absolute shite that sells on eBay like the dismalland free art etc for £££ I’m happy with mine for what they are
